NEWS DESK – According to a report published by Lekolin.org, it is alleged that Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization (MIT) and Parastin, the intelligence unit of the KDP, are conducting joint activities.

The report claims that these activities target the Kurdish political movement, the Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD), and the Democratic Union Party (PYD) as separate actors.

According to the allegations, a meeting took place on April 14, 2026, between a delegation from MIT and senior members of Parastin. During the meeting, a program aimed at shaping international public perception of these actors was reportedly discussed.

The report states that one of the objectives is to alter existing perceptions within security and strategic circles in the United States and Israel. Coordination of the program is said to be led primarily by Parastin, with MIT remaining in the background.

It is also alleged that contact is planned with Israeli journalist and security analyst Yossi Melman, who has written extensively for Haaretz and other outlets.

The report further claims that social media activities are planned to present developments in Syria within a different narrative framework.

No official statement has yet been issued by MIT, Parastin, or the other parties mentioned.
