Izmir – An important discussion on Kurdish literature will be organized within the framework of cooperation between BIZOT Magazine and Ege Ağrı Culture Federation.
Under the slogan “Poetry of the oppressed,” the program titled “A Look at the Poetry of Exile – Discussion –” will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, between 14:00 and 17:00 at the headquarters of the Ege Ağrı Culture Federation.
Three prominent figures of Kurdish literature and poetry will participate in the discussion and share their perspectives:
- Lal Laleş – Poet and writer
- Fewzî Ciwan – Poet
- Mekî Ekîn – Editor of BIZOT Magazine
The discussion will focus on the current state of Kurdish culture, literature and poetry, the challenges they face, their significance, their interrelations, and new perspectives. The event is jointly organized by BIZOT Magazine and the Ege Ağrı Culture Federation and is open to all lovers of Kurdish literature, poetry and culture.
